Night Time Walk & When and Where to Rest

 -Night Time Walk:

  Don’t think about “getting ahead” – Always think about SAFETY!

 -When and where to rest?:
  Take a 5 min break for every 30 min walk. Avoid areas where rocks may fall.
  Beware of falling rocks and other hikers.

In case of ...

 -Thunder and lightning:

  Don’t go near objects which may be struck by lightning. Stay low.

 -Earthquake:
  Make sure you are free from falling rocks and trees.
  Wait for further notice from the call center.

 -Animals :
  Don't let the animals scare you!
  Let them know you are there.
  Call us! We are there for you!

Materials to be prepared

While there will be many important and useful materials available at the event, it is essential to prepare appropriately before the event. It is best to gather and organize all your supplies well in advance. These items are very important:

-Head light (spare battery)
-Rain wear (This is also useful for cold weather)
-Shoes
-Trekking pole
-Camel bag
-Backpack
-Sunglasses, cap or hat

Additionally, be sure to prepare the following before starting the event.
-Mobile phone (with spare battery)
-Watch
-Compass
-First aid kit
-Water (Bottle)
